Posted By: Bill H Mon, Apr 27, 2020 I spotted a differently adorned set of stacking bowls in the same form and approximate size on liveauctioneers.com (Link), which item has a faux reign mark associated with transfer decorated products made during the 3rd quarter of the 20th century by a porcelain ornamentation factory in Macao. Your set likely was made there too, although ornamentation shops in Hong Kong and elsewhere were capable of turning out such wares as well. It isn't surprising that your set lacks a mark, because paper labeling has been used for years to accommodate export requirements. |
