Posted By: Bill H Mon, Mar 23, 2020 In standard kaishu characters, the seal script (zhuanshu) mark reads from the top right down and across as "永存珍玩" (Yong cun zhen wan), "Precious trinket for all time". The mark can be found in conjunction with a few Chinese language auction reports online, but considering the number of fakes in the market, I'd recommend you show additional pictures besides the mark to help one of the forum bronze-collecting experts opine when the censer was made. |
