Subject:Imari 3 ID & Age
Posted By: Charles Ackerman Sun, Feb 23, 2020 IP: 45.72.222.92 This is the third of 3 plates I have posted, and all are without markings. Two of them have what appears to have somewhat worn gold leaf inserted on the flower petals. |

Posted By: Bill H Tue, Feb 25, 2020 All three of the plates in this series are Chinese Imari, made for export during the early-to-mid Qianlong Reign (1736-95), in my opinion. It's my impression that earlier Kangxi and Yongzheng period Chinese Imari plates typically had decoration on the underside of the outer rim. |
