Hello Michael,

Van Quan is a Vietnamese name and it looks like a vietnamese painting with a child on a water buffalo and someone walking near. It would be better to have a closer photo of the mark and of the painting to see if it is not a print.
Sincerely.
Antigone

Michael,

I was searching for Van Quan and I found nothing about this artist,
I was looking at your painting, very nicely done, but hard to see with a photo and not in real, I think it might be drawn with a graphite pencil for example and not painted, if you look at the lines on the water buffalo, it could go out with your finger, or could be erased,
You seem to have a black edge, made with the drawing?
I don't know if it is made on paper, on wood, or on silk,
If the black edge is on the drawing, not coming from an other edge paper, I think it could be a print or a photo, but without seeing it in reality, it is difficult with this photo, because a lot of technics are existing,
I am sorry, I cannot be certain,
Sincerely,
Antigone
