Subject:opium jar and pipe

Hi I've recently purchased an opium jar and pipe, I'm still very new to this area of collecting - somebody has said to me they think the potters mark may be Ming? But surely that's too old for what I have. There's pictures below, please comment if you can clarify the mark, I'd really appreciate knowing if it's even more special sat on my shelf - thanks in advance

Tobacco pipe, looks 1920's or so, Jar is modern and has nothing to do with opium.
