Subject:Vintage small asian painiting - Need help with Identifying
Posted By: Jason Dolph Thu, Jan 09, 2020 IP: 24.74.34.223 Could use help indentifying this, Any info is appreciated. Sits in a 9" x 6" frame. See crack on the left of the image. Image is 3.5" x 2". I cant get to the back without damaging the frame but open to doing so if necesary |

Posted By: Bill H Sat, Jan 11, 2020 This is a Chinese painting on pith paper, which turns fragile as it ages; thus the cracking. It looks like some depicting Qing emperors I've seen that dated from the late Qing-Early republic period (first quarter of the 20th century), including the one shown here of the ascension of the Xuantong Emperor, who reigned 1909-1911.. |
