Posted By: Bill H Wed, Jan 08, 2020 This mark reads down and across from the top right as "Made during the Shunzhi Reign", (Shunzhi Nian Zhi - 順治年制). This reign is the first listed for the Qing Dynasty in Gerald Davison's 'New and Revised Handbook of Marks on Chinese Ceramics'. Don't rely on whatever it belongs to being of the period. |
