Dear Harold,
Cloisonne enamel of the meiji period has to be really exceptional for it to be of high value, and of course in perfect condition. Of note are artists such as Namikawa Yasuyuki,Namikawa Sosuke, and some of the more intricate Hayashi pieces to name but a few makers.I have attached pictures of two Namikawa Yasuyuki vases in my collection, these are in the higher value category, but as I said, it very much depends on the maker and the quality of the item.Cloisonne comes in all forms, from crude to exceptional, so please do look around on the internet, and you can make a good comparison. And yes, the value of the high quality pieces DO have a high value, and are very much sought after. I hope I have been able to answer your question, and good luck!
