Subject:Blue and white ginger jar , Kang hsi?
Posted By: Sally Thu, Nov 28, 2019 IP: 90.255.37.97 Hi , this ginger jar is about 6"/15cm tall. The 4 character mark to base looks most like Kangxi to me . Any thoughts as to whether it's actually 18th century, or later? |

Posted By: Sally Fri, Nov 29, 2019 A bit of further research : Gotheborg.com says that the 4 character mark was rarely used in the period and then only within a circle. Likely then that this is late 19th century, early 20th. I think I've answered my own question ! |
