Subject:Korean Vase

We just purchased this recently and were told it is a KOREAN GORYEO MAEBYEONG PLUM VASE??

Any ideas if this looks correct? We are also looking for an approximate creation date.

Something does not look right not the least of which is the colour.If Koryo it should be green.The only Koryo pieces which fired yellow are iron decorated thus it is one of two things Yi dynasty or a copy.Can you show the foot,this is always very imporant in dating Oriental pieces.
