Hi, these belonged to my great grandparents in the 1930s. Any idea if they are valuable? Thank you! !

The website gotheborg.com shows identical marks that were in use in the 1960's by the Wa Lee Company in Hong Kong, a porcelain ornamentation workshop dealing in transfer-decorated wares. I have no idea of what that factory was doing in the 1930s, but the Japanese military invaded and occupied the colony in December 1941. From what I can see of it, the pattern is very similar to those coming out of Hong Kong and Macao porcelain ornamentation factories during the 3rd quarter of the 20th century, but there was no shortage of such dishes being produced on the mainland during the Republic period (1912-1949), as witnessed by this plate.

Best regards,

Bill H.
