Subject:IDENTIFYING FEMALE CHINESE ARTIST

I have a painting left to me by my lifetime partner. I met the artist 35 years ago, but I cannot remember her name, whether she is still painting etc I know she moved to New York then, but that is all I know.

I can tell you a little to get you started. But a clearer picture of the seal mark might help.

The family name is Lin 林

The given name is (something - possibly Yi 一) and what could be Kun 琨 but we would need a much clearer picture of the seal to make a better reading.
