Subject:Need help to identify marks on large pottery bowl
Posted By: Mary Wed, Sep 11, 2019 IP: 2606:a000:804c:1500: I struggle with dating Chinese and Japanese porcelain/pottery. Old pieces can feel new and new pieces can feel old. Timeless :) I have this large bowl with a painted signature on the base. My guess is Japanese Imari ware circa 1900. Could someone help identify the mark and provide an estimated date? |
