Posted By: plasticman Wed, Aug 07, 2019 Please forgive my late response, I have been away. Your plate was made for the English export market in China c.1760. It was made with the arms of either WOLFF or PEMBERTON. A definitive answer cannot be made due to only the crest being present and not the full arms. I like to remove old staple repairs and bond it with modern clear adhesives, but others feel leaving it as is remains better.I've been collecting a long time so it's my own prejudice. |
