Subject:Old Ming Vase
Posted By: Manuel Sun, Jul 28, 2019 IP: 2a02:908:2522:a120:1

Hello everybody,
My mother possesses an old Ming Vase thats been family property for more than 50 year. It belonged to my grandmother's uncle who collected art and antiques.
Can anybody estimate it's value or give me more information on it?
This would be really helpful. Thank you very much

Not Ming but probably no older than the late 19th-early 20th century. Even at that, it still has value.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Your vase for shape, type of bottom and decoration is probably of Chinese Republic period (1912-1949), I think.
The decoration is a Qianjiang style landscape and it points to the early Republic period: before 1930.
For the value, you can search with the key word “Republic Qianjiang vase”.
Regards,
Adriano
