Subject:Help with signature id on a Meiji period ceramic vase

Hello,
I'm looking for help with identification of a signature on the bottom of, what I believe is a circa 1900 Japanese vase. Also any info on the vase and it's style is welcome as I'm not familiar with this look.

I have also a matching pair for this vase and it's marked differently. I'd appreciate if someone could also translate this marking.
