The print is not signed but bears only the mark of the publisher 'Yoshio Insatsu' or 'Kichio Insatsu' (吉尾印刷 - Yoshio- or Kichio printing), the name of a publishing company that was active in Toyama during the Meiji period. The depicted kabuki actor is Nakamura Fukusuke IV (中村福助, 1865-1940) in the role of 'Ushiwakamaru' (牛若丸). The title of the scene is 'Gojôbashi hayase no tsukikage' (五条橋早瀬月影 - Carried by the wind on Gojo bridge by moonlight). Gojo bridge is the place where Ushiwakamaru (Yoshitsune) and Benkei meet for a fight. This seems to be a parody or a kabuki adaptation where Ushiwakamaru, dressed as a female daruma, is calling Benkei with a flute. Date 1880s.

Guy.
