Subject:Chop Identification
Posted By: Patrick Gervase Mon, Mar 04, 2019 IP: 199.116.169.60

Can anyone help me identify who the painter is based on the chop in the attached image?

I have an original hand painting on silk of a tiger from Japan that was painted in 1948.

Unfortunately I am having difficulty getting an image of the painting to be a small enough file size - I've attached a condensed and cropped image of the painting below - but frankly speaking it does not do the painting justice.

What I am really looking for is a translation of the chop signature in the lower right hand corner of the painting.
