Subject:Small bowl
Posted By: Adidas Sun, Feb 17, 2019 IP: 176.12.146.18 I purchased this item in pingyao, china. It looks like a tiney bowl for noodles, including a bowl, top and a bottom plate. Wanted to know some information on it and if its antique? If so from what time approximately, thanks !! |

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Feb 18, 2019 As Mark has noted, this looks to be a contemporary Chinese noodle bowl and stand with faux Guangxu base-mark and makeover of the late 19th-early 20th century "Cabbage & Moth", AKA "Cabbage & Butterfly", AKA "Pak Choy" motif. Here are images of some pieces dating to circa 1920. The larger bowl has a "Made in China" base-mark, and the handled cup and tray are unmarked. |
