Subject:Japanese print, possibly Kunisada
Posted By: Sally Sat, Jan 26, 2019 IP: 92.2.61.224 Hi, I'd be very grateful if anyone could identify the artist and translate the inscription on this print. Thanks. |

Posted By: Stan Sun, Jan 27, 2019 Yes, it is by Kunisada (signing as Toyokuni III) and printed in 1851. The Google translator translates the title 八百屋お七 as Greengrocer's Shichibu. Perhaps, I. Nagy can provide better information. |
