Subject:Chinese ink paint
Posted By: Myra Mon, Jan 14, 2019 IP: 77.170.249.58

Dear all,
I purchased this ink painting of a pekingese dog with calligraphy.
Would some of you be so kind to translate its meaning.. and possibly the name of the artist?
Your help - i.e. Nagy's - has been very useful before.
Best regards,
Myra

Thank you so much for taking the effort, I. Nagy; it's highly appreciated. Knowing the meaning of the calligraphy truly adds to the experience.

Best regards,
Myra

Its not 等人篱下
its 寄人篱下 that means "to lodge under another person's roof (idiom); to live relying on sb else's charity"
