Please share your opinion on this item, an actual antique? If so how old would you say it is?

Hi. My impression is that the quality of the bronze casting and finishing are fairly low, which might suggest a more modern piece. I don't like the white, chalky "patina"; not sure what's going on there.

I agree, doesn't look like an artist's work, but on the other hand the technic used to make it looks different from generic souvenir grade. Maybe someone's hobby or an apprentice work.

This item is definitely made to appear as an antique for a novice collector. They are made in the thousands.Sorry!
