Can anyone one help translate the symbols on this wood Signboard? Assuming it’s Chinese or Japanese?

The signboard is Chinese,
Right (vertical),
平如水　-　Smooth as water
Long script from right to left,
壽永多福　-　Eternal life and much happiness
Left (vertical),
千忍　-　Qianren (Signature of carver - I hope I am right with the second character)
Seal,
魁　　-　Kui (Pseudonym)
