Subject:Wood block print
Posted By: Allie Sun, Nov 25, 2018 IP: 24.246.11.74 I saved this print from the trash at a thrift store. They trew it out because the frame was broken and the glass too. The print was taped to a cardboard matting with fiberglass scotch tape. The back of the print had cardboard. The print is very acidic and fell apart. I save the pieces but even just picking them up they are so brittle. Can you please tell me if this is an original. I am wondering if this is worth conserving. Thank you. |

Posted By: David Sun, Nov 25, 2018 Allie. Its a daft question to ask if its worth conserving. Yoy saved it so you thought so. It maybe a woodblock. If it is it may not be original but it may be worth having. A lovely piece. Enjoy |
