I used to own a pair of yellow & green planters which were judged by some forum members likely to be late Qing on the basis of iridescence found mainly in their green glaze, though there was a bit in the yellow too. I've included one photo herewith, and others will be found with related discussions at the embedded link. You may wish to take a look for this characteristic in your censer's glaze. It appears to be rather well made. The only other thought I have is that the taotie mask designs, such as your censor has, were a popular motif from the early People's Republic until the end of the Cultural Revolution and downfall of the Gang of Four in 1976. So if there's no iridescence, it may be that your censer dates to that era.

Best regards,

Bill H.
