Here's another Satsuma-marked item signed as by Ryuzan, but painted in a different motif. It will be up for auction later this month in Vienna. Below, a lightly edited machine-translation of the German-language description:
Ryuzan: Small Satsuma can catalogue number: AK1112-161
Ceramics with enamel colors and gold Japan Meiji Time (1868-1912) Height 2.85 cm, through. 9 cm very well executed poet décor in the kind of "Millefiori ". Larger and many small blossoms, leaves and areas with golden dots fill the composition. In the foreground are white chrysanthemums and reddish peonies. Inside an enchanting painted representation of peonies and butterflies, on the underside of the lid it is Prunus blossoms. In indented grounds, a Satsuma crest as well as the bordered signature of Ryuzan (隆山).
