Subject:A lot of old japanese scroll paintings, any artist of note?
Posted By: spartakos Sun, Jul 01, 2018 IP: 49.49.248.49

A lot of scrolls, all boxed and signed, was wondering if there is anyone of note among those artists. Please comment. Thank you.

Esteemed I. Nagy. Thank you very much for such comprehensive explanation. I searched the internet further based on your information. The scroll number 4 although imitates Sesshu Toyo is probably a 20th century reproduction. Scroll 7 I was able to pinpoint to the :■略歴:

But still no luck in finding the artist of the scroll 3.
