The dish is a Japanese, with the mark 日本國製 meaning “Nihon Kuni-Sei” or “Made in Japan.”

Your dish may date from the 1920s to the 1930s Taisho to Showa periods.

Your bowl is Japanese, the mark reads: Nippon 日本 Koku 國 Sei 製 = Made in (the country of) Japan.
It's a stamped mark, early Showa Period 1930's.
Regards,
Martin.
