Posted By: Bill H Sun, Apr 15, 2018 The mark on your dish is consistent with Jiaqing period marks illustrated by sources including Tony Allen's latest book, "Allen's Antique Chinese Porcelain -- The Detection of Fakes" and a 2006 Mainland-published Chinese-language compendium of historical Chinese porcelain markings. I have Jiaqing B&W dishes in a similar pattern with the same kind of marks in my own collection. |

Posted By: Gary Summers Wed, Apr 18, 2018 Thanks very much Bill for confirming my limited research capability. I bought the plate in Beijing as a purely decorative piece, as it has been safely stored away for far too long I thought I'd sell it on to someone who can appreciate its charm. |
