Reading and transcription of mixed kanji and nonstandard kana text,
秋ときに Aki toki ni
いわにまざりて iwa ni mazarite-
るにける ru ni keri
雲のみえるの kumo no mieru no
あかつきの akatsuki no
葵 aoi

In my rough translation,

In autumn, mingled among the rocks
the hollycock that can see the clouds at daybreak

I read the signature like last character 芿
Kusa (Wild Grass) - if I am right

Wow... I have been scratching my head over this for months. My Japanese wife and her friends had no idea what it said. The consensus was the first character was water 水!!

Thank you so much for your help I. Nagy!!!!
