The top photo is: 慎徳堂博古製 (Shen de tang bo gu zhi) "Hall for the Cultivation of Virtue Reproduction". Shendetang was a hall within the Summer Palace near the Forbidden City in Beijing. The complex was originally built by the Kangxi Emperor (1662-1722), and Shendetang was the favorite residence of the Daoguang Emperor (1821-50. The hall was destroyed in 1860 by invading European troops. The below images show a Daoguang period Shendetang marked bowl with features also seen on earlier palace wares.

The bottom photo is: 大明嘉靖六年八月吉日 - 恭王府內用 (Da Ming Jia jing liu nian ba yue ji ri - Gong wang nei fu yong) "Made for inner palace ritual use of the ruler on a propitious day in the eighth month of the sixth year of the Jiajing Reign in the Great Ming Dynasty". This likely is another reproduction.

By failing to show the form and other features of these items, you deny your fellow students of the Chinese porcelain arts, including me, an opportunity perhaps to provide additional information and comments.

Good luck,

Bill H.
