Subject:Old ceramic chinese boots??

Posted By: Shawn Chong Mon, Jan 29, 2018 I'm not a footwear expert, but those are demon boots! They are probably Japanese or Chinese feet for a god in a temple; a lot of the gods in temples are made of ceramic and oftentimes they would be made of various parts put together on site. |

Posted By: John Alden Thu, Feb 01, 2018 So low and behold as i was inspecting the boots today a tag slide out from the toe part of the inside. I reached inside and have taken a photo of what it read. Do you think these are really 17th century? The history is quote intersting of the process to make these. I was thinking of starting a new post that said sangkhalok ware boots. Any of info would be appreciated. |
