Subject:Japanese Pottery Cup Marking?
Posted By: Jemmie Thu, Jan 25, 2018 IP: 2601:648:8202:b0db:9

Hi all, I’ve searched and searched for the translation of a marking I found on a studiompottery cup I acquired, but have been unsuccessful in identifying the maker. Could I please ask you all for assistance to identify the signature? Cheers!

Does this bump up the query? I hope so! Could someone look at this marking and help identify? Thank you!

My best guess: Ishimitsu 石光.
The red seal (kakihan = personal seal of the maker) is unreadable for me.
And I also don't know anything about this kind of pottery.
Regards,
Martin.
