Subject:What is this Jade piece (I think) And where is it from?
Posted By: Mark F. Thu, Jan 11, 2018 IP: 108.3.157.150

Hi. I really don't know what this is. Picked it up today and am guessing something that held brushes?
Or was it something worn on a robe? Some sort of base.
It has bats around the perimeter, what looks like swords in the center and a mark underneath that. If anybody knows what the mark is/means that would help.
It fits perfectly into an engraved brass stand.
Sorry my pics aren't better. Hopefully I can add some better ones to this post if need be.

Thanks -Mark-

How old is this? 100, 200, 500, or more years?
I have a feeling the Bats on it add to the value. And the crossed swords look like they have some sort of faces on them? If they are swords?
And what do the marks mean, or say?
