I have a diorama of an Asian pastoral scene that was created inside of a large shell (11 by 6 inches) and is made entirely of hand carved pieces of shell (I have confirmed this under magnification) purchased from an antique shop. It appears to be fairly unique; I haven't found anything quite like it. The primary shell that contains the diorama is about 10 Inches in height. Under magnification it is clear the components were hand carved. Any help identifying its origin is appreciated.
