Posted By: Pat Wallace Wed, Nov 22, 2017 IP: 2001:bb6:1a17:3a58:d

Hello, would anyone have any information regarding the artist of this watercolour, there are Japanese symbols in the margins and a signature and seal in the painting. On the back of the frame was a sticker which reads " Landscape painting of Shonen signed by Tan Yu Sai, Moronobu Seal, Meiji 27, 1890. Any help would be appreciated.

Pat,

I am not familiar with this particular artist. However, my experience would indicate that these might be worth $50ish each at an auction site.

Good luck.

Cheers,
Stan
