First, clean that item, then post it again. Also, make a scratch test:
On a sound/solid spot make a 2-3 mm scratch, using a strong needle, and enough pressure until you seee a tiny line, then tell us the color of that scratch

Dear Ernest, thank you for the advice, can you tell me what I need to do to clean it, without damaging it? Also, do you mean like a tempered sewing needle to do the scratch test? Please let me know and I will do it, thank you so much,Maria

yes, a solid sewing needle,
Clean it in warm water, use soap , a toothbrush (You don't have to use your own) Do not forget, it is a stone
