Posted By: Maxxxxy Wed, Nov 01, 2017 Thanks for the info. yes, this appears to be a nice piece of nephrite jade. I've tried to find similar items with no luck. The closest I could find is archaic Hongshan carvings (which this is clearly not) that are said to represent a cicada larva. Would this be Chinese, or Japanese, any idea of the era that these were commonly used? Or is it modern? Thanks in advance. |
