1st picture,
松山 Matsuyama
(FYI, Chinese counterfeiters like to use this
name)
2nd picture,
重敬刀 Shigekata tou (Tou has the meaning of
chiesel-blade i.e.quasi made by..)

With regards,
I.Nagy

松山 'Matsuyama' (tentative reading of the first character)
重敬刀 'Shigeyoshi no tô' (carved by Shigeyoshi)

Guy.

Can't help with the signatures.

Given the limited views in the photos:

1) The nut carving looks decent. Indications are that it is 20th century.

2) The other one is not well carved. The patina is unnatural. Likely, an attempt to artificially make it look old. My guess is that it is plant ivory (tagua nut).

Cheers,
Stan
