Subject:What is this? HELP
Posted By: Tony Austin Fri, Sep 29, 2017 IP: 184.155.192.188

Can anyone help me out! What does this say? How old is it? I'm thinking that this is from the Qing Dynasty but I could be wrong! If this is, it's over 200 years old!

Dear Tony

I believe this is a modern piece attempting to emulate Republican (early 20th century) porcelain. The footrim is smoothly modern and the mark is transfer printed.

This is a Chinese vase marked for the Qianlong Period, but likely late Republic or early People's Republic.
