Subject:Ming cup.
Posted By: Marty Tue, Sep 19, 2017 IP: 24.108.160.27 Hello erudite experts. I would like to get opinions on the age and authenticity of this cup with a Ming dynasty, Chongzhen, (ch'ung-cheng), circa 1628-1643 mark. It is a Porcelain cup with boy in forest scene, brass bands on top and bottom. It weighs 6.2 oz and stands 2 3/4" (7 cm) tall with a diameter of 3 3/8" (8.6 cm). It has an unglazed interior rim of 1/4" (.6 cm). |
