Subject:Help identifying Asian glass item
Posted By: Chris Carmichael Thu, Sep 14, 2017 IP: 73.58.38.239 I have an item that looks like a covered shot glass --- perhaps for medicine of liquor? Can anyone tell me what this is? |

Posted By: Chris Carmichael Sat, Sep 16, 2017 There is no place for any connections. The clear glass part fits snugly under the dome. The dome has no holes. In my experience water pipes were ceramic, not glass. This looks like it is possible a covered container for liquor or an aphrodisiac. There are no markings. It is puzzling that the metal work covers part of the designs in a way that would indicate that they were made at a different time, but not as a repair. |
