Subject:What is this?

I believe it is From Papua New Guinea, from Tambanum Village. If you go to Boise weekly.com., there is an article about art exhibit. A photo from the collection of Beth Sellars has an uncanny resemblance to yours. Made of plant fibers, clay, and pigments. The village is in middle Sepic river region. I do hope this helps, as I am quite uncertain in my research ability as of late |
