Subject:Chinese vase with two warriors. Modern?
Posted By: Ray Sat, Sep 02, 2017 IP: 2602:304:cf5f:5970:4

Hello, This looks like a modern vase with a lot of transfers, but what is the significance of all the stamps and the writings? Could any one translate the writings and the stamps?
Thanks for your help.

The stamp is for the Jiaqing (1796-1820) reign, but not of that period. Hong Kong/Macau decorated from probably 1960s or 1970s.

Thank you so much Bokaba for identifying the period/maker and thank you Nagy for information about the characters painted on the vase.
Very helpful and educating information.
