Subject:Please help with Japanese Porcelain Charger Fuku Mark

Hi there

I was wondering if anyone could help in determining the marks on this porcelain charger. Seems to be a variation of Fuku mark, but I do not find something similar.
Besides this I have no idea about the period of this charger.
Any thoughts are welcome, thanks in advance.

I think this may be a modern Chinese piece and not Japanese. The decoration is somewhat bizarre in my opinion. The green ground lotus scrolling and pink cell configuration is a style from the Qianlong Period and other design elements that span the ages of Chinese art. I'll defer to Bill H. and others on this one. I think is also a remote chance it is chinoiserie, an item made in Europe in an Oriental style.

The dragons on the back are befitting the Japanese style, being mostly 3-clawed (though one may have lost a toe to a transfer-printing accident). Also, the decoration is not unlike some dishes done by the Yamatoku Virtue kiln, though in this case the cavetto motif looks similar to Canton enameled metal dishes. However, the metal cladding on the rims is not often seen on Japanese dishes as far as I know. Maybe there's an answer in when and by whom the dishes with "hanging holes" started appearing on the market. I'll vote for mid-20th century and add an "enigmatic" to your "bizarre" in the meantime.
