Subject:Black & Gold Porcelain Mark
Posted By: Connor C Wed, Aug 30, 2017 IP: 2605:6000:f512:3300:

Trying to identify the below mark. Only similar marks I could find were Japanese, but the writing does not appear Japanese, unless it is stylized beyond my amateur ability to distinguish. Any assistance given is greatly appreciated.

First, the mark is side down.

Second the mark simply says Kiln Art 陶藝。

The style of writing is seal script, which you won't find in most dictionaries.

And next time, please show the whole object as well as any mark.

The pic is upside down.
Mark is written in seal script, and can be
interpreted Chinese,Japanese,Korean and Vietnamese.
The transcription into normal characters and
readings:
陶藝 Chinese: Taoyi Ceramic Art
Japanese: Togei Same
Korean: Toie Same
Vetnamese: Daone Same
I hope somebody can exactly identify the pottery maker wich has used this bottom marking.
With regards,

Thank you for the replies, and apologies for not including a picture of the item the mark is on. I have posted it below.
