Could someone translate the signature/backstamp on the bottom of this item please?

Thank you in advance.

That says that it was done in Tongzhi years (1861 to 1875), during Qing Dynasty China. I can't tell if its an original or a fake tongzhi piece.

Thank you for the information you have provided. I have uploaded some images of the plate/charger which measures 16.5" or 42cm in diameter. Is there anyway to tell if it is a genuine piece or a reproduction?

Thank you again.

The dish is a contemporary transfer-decorated piece with an apocryphal standard script mark of "Made during the Tongzhi Reign" (Tongzhi Nian Zhi). In past years, stamped Tongzhi markings in standard script have been associated with transfer-decorated porcelains from Macao.

Best regards,

Bill H.

I can't say for sure, but this looks like a post 1950s piece in the Kangxi Famille Verte style palette.
