Subject:Please help Mahjong tiles...
Posted By: Chris Herring Mon, Mar 27, 2017 IP: 184.205.50.171

I would like help identifying which region or country these are from (China, Japan, Korea etc) and if anyone has ever seen Mahjong tiles encased in lucite or acrylic?

I am thinking that they did this to hang them up in a frame as a art display ("conversation piece").

I have provided a link to my private FB page to a post I made were I uploaded the pics because the pictures on my phone were so large that even using MS Paint I could not get them down lower than 980kb to load here.

Please comment both here and the fb page if you can that would be appreciated. t

Thank you for your help
I believe they are made of bakelite, but if someone know better it would help.

Thank you.
