Subject:Re: Artist/period identification on silk painting

I'll limit my input to translations of the characters and seal on the fish painting, which indicate it was done during the fifth month of summer (May) in 1966 by Qingxia (一九六六年夏五月青霞 - Yi jiu liu liu nian xia wu yue Qing-xia). The last two characters also are found in the red seal.
Qingxia apparently refers to Wu Qingxia (吳青霞 - 1910-2008), who was known for painting fish among other subjects. Here are a couple of links to auction results, first to a fish painting and second to calligraphy attributed to Wu:

Hopefully Rat and other savants of the Chinese graphic arts can pick up matters of authenticity from here.
Best regards,
Bill H.
