Subject:Early porcelain famille rose bowl - help?
Posted By: Ben Wed, Feb 08, 2017 IP: 80.189.34.203 Hello, My question is possibly rather naive, but is this bowl Chinese or early English porcelain? I always thought it to be a Chinese export piece, but not sure. Sadly broken and badly fixed many years ago - it needs a bit of tlc to bring it back to life. I love it though! The bowl is 145 mm in diameter at the mouth and stands 70 mm high. It has NO marks. Any advice on its age and origin would be much appreciated. Thank you. |
